Meet Patches<br/><br/>Patches is a 1-year-old, 40 lb Rat Terrier mix with the sweetest soul and a love for snuggles. She’s the perfect mix of affectionate and playful — happiest curled up next to her people or enjoying time outside with her favorite chew toys.<br/><br/>She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you — she warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, loving companion in no time. Once she feels comfortable, Patches is incredibly affectionate and will happily soak up all the cuddles you have to give.<br/><br/>Patches enjoys the company of other dogs and does especially well with male dogs. She also does great with kids and would make a wonderful addition to a family home. She hasn’t been around cats yet.<br/><br/>She’s a smart girl, too! Patches already knows commands like sit and paw, walks well on leash, and is both crate trained and potty trained.<br/><br/>Patches can be a little protective of her food and favorite toys around other dogs, so she’ll do best with a home that can manage feeding times separately and give her space when enjoying high-value items.
