Parry's Story
Meet Parry!

This 5 year old, 41 pound, pocket bully is full of so much love!

Parry is looking for a medical foster-to-adopt home. He is currently being treated by a veterinary team for a lung nodule that will be surgically removed as part of his treatment plan. While Parry is in foster care, Critter Crusaders will cover the cost of his veterinary care. Once his veterinarian clears him for adoption, you'll simply finalize the adoption and officially make him part of your family. We don't know exactly when he'll be ready for that final step, but we'd love for him to spend this time settling into his forever home.

Parry has been with our rescue since February after being brought in as a stray. He is currently in a wonderful foster home, but we're hoping to move him into a foster-to-adopt home so he can begin life with his forever family while also opening a foster spot for another dog in need.

He has done a great job acclimating to the cush life in his foster home! Sleeping, eating, sleeping, roaming the yard, sleeping, chewing bones... sleeping... did I mention being a couch potato?

He does a great job in his kennel all day while his foster family is at work and even prefers to relax in it when the door is wide open.

Parry does well with other dogs as long as they don't have dominant personalities. He loves playful little dogs, puppy energy, and easygoing big dogs. He would do best with *no cats*

And people? They're his favorite. Parry absolutely LOVES kids (he lives with multiple in his current home)... really, he loves all humans! He loved getting pet by everyone at the last event he attended!

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet guy, apply at adoptapal.org/adopt to meet Parry! We can discuss more about the medical foster-to-adopt process after you apply. Applying does not commit you in any way.
