Parry's Story

Parry has one wish... a couch to call his own.

We are looking for a foster home or foster-to-adopt home....just someone willing to give him a place to land while he finishes up his medical care. Then adopt him at the end if it is a good fit!

Parry is a 5-year-old, 41-pound pocket bully who has been waiting since February for his happily ever after. He's currently being treated for a lung nodule that will be surgically removed, and Critter Crusaders will cover all of his veterinary care until his veterinarian gives him the green light for adoption. At that point, you'll simply finalize the adoption and officially make him yours!

Because he'll need to attend occasional veterinary appointments, we're looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home ideally within a couple of hours of the Cedar Rapids area.

Now let's talk about the important stuff...

Loves every person he meets.
Absolutely adores kids and has done wonderfully living with them.
Enjoys easygoing dogs and playful pups but prefers a home without lots of dogs competing for attention.
No cats, please.
Professional couch potato.
Crate trained and happily relaxes in his kennel even when the door is left open.

Parry doesn't ask for much. A comfy bed. A few treats. Belly rubs. A family to love. In return, he'll give you a best friend who thinks every human is worth wagging his tail for.

If you can open your home to this incredibly sweet boy while he finishes his medical journey—and hopefully forever afterward—we'd love to hear from you.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet guy, apply at adoptapal.org/adopt to meet Parry! We can discuss more about the medical foster-to-adopt process after you apply. Applying does not commit you in any way.
