What kind of home would be best for me? Little Parker is just the perfect pup. He is searching for his forever home to chill in. Parker wants a home where his people will be home most, if not all, of the day. This little dude simply wants to enjoy life and his adopter will be a huge part of making that happen. Parker walks on a leash but still can use some training there. He will need to be taught basic commands like sit, stay, down, come, etc. Parker loves people and car rides. He would do well for a single adopter who works from home, a couple, or a family. Parker would do well with kids who understand he's a living breathing animal and not a toy. Parker would do well in either an apartment or a house. This little dude needs a couple of walks a day or a trip to the dog park. Parker is a retired couple's dream, relaxed and easygoing. This little man is full of spunk and personality to make anyone's day into the best day ever

What is my personality like? Parker wants things the way he wants them. If his doggie bed isn't to his liking, he'll work on it until he has it just right. He's a curious little guy who will explore his surroundings. Parker loves people and will jump on your leg to get your attention. He will also vocalize when he wants out to play. We are not certain if he does so when he needs to potty, but it seems logical. Parker gets along with other dogs well, big or small, doesn't matter to him! Parker is just fine with cats and doesn't mind them. This little man just wants a Hakuna Matata life, no worries for the rest of his days. Parker loves car rides!

How do I act when I first meet new people? Parker won't spring up and run to you upon the first meeting. He'll take a moment to sniff out the situation before approaching you. It won't take long for him to come up to you for pets, ear rubs, chin rubs, chest scratches, and just above the rear scratches. They are all favorites of his. In return, you'll get the occasional kiss from the little love bug.

Other tips and tidbits: Our vet estimates Parker to be 5 years old est. 02/09/2019

House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
