This sweet boy may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time to get comfortable, and his friendly, loving personality begins to shine.<br/><br/>Parker is very food and treat motivated, which makes him a quick learner and a fun young dog to train. He is already about 98% housebroken and does best when kept on a consistent schedule. Parker also does wonderfully in his crate — he keeps it clean and is quiet and content while crated.<br/><br/>Like many young dogs, Parker still has a few things to learn. He’s working on becoming a better leash walker and will need a family who is willing to continue his training and help build his confidence.<br/><br/>Once Parker gets to know you, you’ll discover what a wonderful little companion he can be. The first step in meeting our adoptable animals is the breed/species-specific application at www.ILDobeRescue.com. We do a vet check, landlord/association verification, and home visit to ensure a permanent placement for our wonderful animals. Thank you for considering rescue! We look forward to working with you.  IDR+ is a network of foster homes; therefore, we do not have a location to visit. The first step in meeting our adoptable animals is the specific application at www.ILDobeRescue.com for a Doberman, Plus dog (non-Dobe), or cat. Approved adopters are then directed to our foster homes.
