Parker's Story
Parker (approximately 60 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This energetic, loving, and silly boy keeps us all laughing at his goofball antics. Parker loves to cuddle, although he is not aware of how large he is and can overwhelm smaller people with his love. He is extremely playful and will joyfully toss toys up in the air to self-entertain, but he is at his happiest when playing with his humans or with another dog. He was an enthusiastic participant in the doggie play groups at his previous shelter, so if you have a resident canine hopefully they are looking for a best friend and play mate, because Parker is going to be all up in their business. And we should mention that the one thing we've found that Parker hates is being crated. He will attempt to Kool-Aid Man his way out of any crate you put him in, so if you are a person who needs or wants to crate their dog, Parker is not the boy for you. He does well left in a room by himself, he just cannot abide the restriction of a crate (and can you really blame him?). Parker is so excited to be someone's adventure buddy who also gets all the cuddles he's been dreaming of. If you can provide him with an active, loving, and crate-free lifestyle, come meet Parker today!

If you'd like to meet Parker and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
