Parker's Story

We could see Parker's ribs.
All of them.
Clearly.
Despite getting three big meals a day, plus treats, Parker was losing weight.
He spent his days at the shelter running in frantic circles, then pacing when he was too tired to run.
At night, he barked at every sound, every shadow, as if the world itself was closing in.

So we tried an experiment: a kind volunteer offered to foster Parker.

And just like that, the story changed.
In a quiet home with routine and calm, Parker exhaled. His ribs disappeared beneath healthy weight. His pacing slowed to a steady trot at your side. His bark softened from panic to commentary - a running narration of life as your shadow.

Parker is three years old, housetrained, crate trained, and so smart you'll catch him studying you like he's preparing for an exam. He's polite, sensitive, and endlessly loyal - the sort of dog who wants to get it right for you, every time.

He isn't built for chaos. Shelter life proved that. But in a steady, loving home, Parker is a revelation: funny, affectionate, devoted. For this reason, we will accept multiple applications for a dog. In the case of multiple applications, we will select the applicant that is the best fit based on the needs of the dog.
