Papi's Story

Papi is a young, sweet Norwich terrier mix who would do well in most homes. He so badly wants to play with his foster sisters, but they are no fun and he respects their boundaries. Recently, he was able to play with a dog his size at his foster grandma’s house and had a blast!

He met kids ages 7-9 on his first day out of the shelter and loved them all! He is hesitant with new big humans, but he is very cuddly and affectionate when he gets to know them. He loves snuggling with foster mom or getting cozy in a dog bed.

Papi is estimated to be around 2 years old. He is doing great with potty training, but as is the case with many male dogs who are not neutered, he has some marking habits to work on. This should subside after his neuter appointment next week.

He is not destructive and has full run of the house with his foster sisters when foster mom leaves the house. He is a great companion and can’t wait to find his new family!

Papi’s adoption fee is $400.

Applications at www.midwestsmallbreedrescue.org

Midwest Small Breed Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hello future adopters! If you find a pet you would like to apply for, please submit an application. One of our adoption representatives will be in contact if your application seems like a good fit. Once an application is screened, a representative will do a vet check to make sure your current and previous pets were taken care of. Once that is completed, a landlord check is often completed if you are renting. Provided that is properly screened, a representative will schedule a meet and home visit for the prospective pet.
