Meet Pancake

Welcome Pancake. We pulled her from a crowded shelter in WV after she was surrendered by her owner for allegedly having too many animals. When she arrived we noticed she was missing an ear and that the opening to the canal was closed. Her foster mom also thought she might have an ACL injury due to a slight limp. When examined it was found that her femur had actually snapped off from the femoral head and is attached by the ligaments only. Unfortunately the knee is also misaligned so no orthopedic repair is possible and an eventual amputation may be needed. As of now however, she is using it as normal and is not in discomfort. She is a loving, sweet girl who needs to find a forever home and does well with kids, dogs AND cats. She will be spayed next week, is micro-chipped, fully vaccinated and HW negative.
