Palomo

Palomo is a Parson Russell Terrier, who may be mixed with beagle. He is estimated to be 2-3 years old. He weighs 22 pounds. Palomo is a beagle-sized dog, with a white coat and brown coloring like a lemon beagle. He has a distinctive brown spot on the left side of his back, with brown ears.<br/><br/>We found Palomo in an overcrowded shelter down in the Central Valley. He continues to decompress after being in that environment. Palomo can be a little shy and uncertain at first, but that feeling changes soon after he becomes acquainted with someone. Underneath, Palomo is a sweet and loving, and well-behaved, dog. What Palomo most wants is to be close to someone, to snuggle and get pets, sit on a lap, or lean against someone and be held or petted. He has walked fine on a leash, but can be tentative about it at times, especially if going into a new place. His leash walking should continue to improve the longer he is out of the shelter.<br/><br/>Palomo is neutered, chipped, and has all of his shots. We are happy to have freed him from the shelter to give him the opportunity at a new life. He is a sweet guy looking for his person.
