Meet one of our newest rescue, Palomita <br/><br/>Palomita is a one year-old female mixed breed (Great Pyr, Aussie best guess). <br/><br/>We rescued her this month from Yolo county shelter — unfortunately she had a bad upper respiratory infection and had to be admitted to UCD vet where she battled and is continuing to make a great recovery. <br/><br/>She is currently being fostered in Sacramento with children. She loves people but due to her sickness has not been tested around dogs yet. <br/><br/>She is housetrained & loves walks. She is 75 lbs of gentle sweetness and will be spayed once medically cleared.<br/><br/> We are currently accepting pre-apps now at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adopt<br/><br/>Interested in adopting?<br/>1. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home<br/><br/>Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days.
