BREED - Chihuahua
SIZE - About 5 pounds
AGE - 6 months
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Paisley is a very sweet puppy who can be a bit shy initially with new people, and is just a love bug. Her family surrendered her to the shelter when they decided to divorce. We are looking for a very specific home for this special pup and are focused on her safety and her family's ability to be at home with her for consistent training and socialization. A home without small children, larger pets and with a private, structured fenced yard for her protection will be required. Paisley began to be house trained in her last home appears happy to meet other quiet new dogs.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
