Paddy's Story
Paddy is a Mini Australian Shepherd born on January 22, 2026, and he is bursting with personality, energy, and charm. Paddy is the result of a double merle breeding, which left him deaf, but he doesn't let that slow him down one bit. This happy, confident puppy approaches life with enthusiasm and determination every single day.

Paddy is learning how to communicate with his foster family and is already beginning to understand visual cues and hand signals. He's a smart little guy who is eager to learn and connect with the people around him.

When it's playtime, Paddy gives it his all! He loves to run, play, and explore, and once he's worn himself out, he'll often tuck himself into his kennel for a well-earned nap. While he's not the biggest fan of being confined, he has earned the privilege of free roam in his foster home thanks to his excellent potty pad training and trustworthy behavior-something his foster family has never felt comfortable doing with a puppy his age before.

One of Paddy's most endearing qualities is his devotion to his people. He loves being close to his foster family and always wants to know what they're up to. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Paddy will gain a loyal companion who will happily be their shadow, following them from room to room and sharing in all of life's adventures.

Paddy is looking for a family willing to continue helping him learn and thrive using visual communication. In return, he'll bring endless entertainment, affection, and joy to your home. His deafness is just one small part of who he is-what truly defines Paddy is his playful spirit, intelligence, and love for life.

************************************************
Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted.
