Ozzy's Story

Meet Ozzy! Ozzy is a handsome, friendly boy who came to us as an unclaimed stray. He is approximately 3 to 4 yrs old and is a purebred Rottweiler. Ozzy is big & strong, weighing 101lbs. He does walk fairly well on a leash, but will need to continue working on those skills. He will tend to pull if he sees something he’s interested in. Ozzy’s new owner will need to be fit and active enough to handle him. His ideal home is where he is not left alone for long periods because he does get stressed. His new owner should be willing to work with him so that he is comfortable and confident. Ozzy may enjoy another dog in the house, of course, a meet and greet is required first. We are unsure about cats and suggesting older children only due to Ozzy’s size.
Despite his intimidating presence,
Ozzy is a gentle giant who loves attention and giving kisses . If you would like to give Ozzy the life he deserves, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm or Saturday 12-3p.

https://www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org/online-adoption-form
