Dog Adoption Post: Meet Ozzie!

Ozzie, a delightful 10-month-old mixed breed weighing approximately 60 lbs, is looking for a new loving home. He is up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, and is already housebroken and crate trained. Ozzie has recently completed private basic obedience training and has excelled in learning all commands. He walks on a leash with ease and is overall very well-behaved.

While Ozzie's current family has four young children and their friends frequently visit, they believe that he would thrive best in a quieter environment without the noise and bustle of young children. Due to his fear of quick movements and toys, Ozzie would be most comfortable in a home with older, considerate children who can understand and respect his boundaries. He has had no issues with adults and previously lived harmoniously with a 13-year-old Lab X for the first five months of his life.

Although Ozzie hasn't been exposed to cats, his behavior around them is unknown. It's worth noting that his current owners have done an excellent job with his training so far. However, they feel that their household, with its four active young children, frequent visitors, and upcoming move-in of grandparents (one of whom has early dementia), may be too stressful for Ozzie.

If you are looking for a well-behaved, obedient companion, Ozzie could be the perfect fit for you. His ideal home would provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere, giving him the peace and tranquility he deserves. With his current training and good behavior, Ozzie has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and loving addition to the right family.
