NFM is located in The Legends at 1601 Village West Pkwy, KCK 66111.<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>Owen is a 3-year-old American Bulldog mix that weighs 72 lbs.<br/><br/>He’s good with other dogs, keeps his kennel nice and clean, and is always up for playtime and adventures. And after a good day of fun? He’s all about finding a cozy spot and curling up with his comfy blanket.<br/><br/>This sweet boy got to break out of the shelter for a doggy day out with a couple of his favorite volunteers recently, and he made the most of every second. He was the BEST car rider (just happy to be along for the adventure), took his treats so gently, and soaked up all the love like he’s been waiting his whole life for it.<br/><br/>But his favorite part? The water! Owen is a full-on water boy — splashing, exploring, living his best life like he was made for it. <br/><br/>Days like this show just how special he is outside of the kennel… happy, goofy, and so ready for a life full of adventures.<br/><br/>Now he just needs someone to make those days his everyday.<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofKCKAS/ for more info about weekend adoption hours, events and available pets. <br/><br/>We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives? Consider fostering by filling out our foster application at https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet. All supplies are provided.
