Otis's Story

Meet Otis 🚀🐾e.5 years old | 50 lbs
Otis is a fun, active, happy dog who just wants to do life with his people.
Yes, he’s got energy — he’d love a running buddy, hikes, or a yard to zoom in — but he’s not “nonstop chaos.” He’s a smart, eager-to-please dog who does really well when he has a little structure and something to do.
He learns fast (potty trained quickly, picked up the dog door in a day just by watching), and he’s the kind of dog that actually enjoys training and figuring things out.
He’s super sweet, affectionate, and loves people. He can be a little enthusiastic at first (he’s young!), but he settles in and just wants to hang out and be part of whatever you’re doing.
The good stuff:
✔️ Walks well on leash
✔️ Great in the car
✔️ Dog-friendly (best with playful, confident dogs)
✔️ Smart + trainable
✔️ Loves toys and enrichment
Otis would do best in a home that’s at least somewhat active — not extreme, just someone who will take him on walks, play with him, and include him in daily life. A yard is a big plus.
Not ideal for cats, and tiny toddlers may get knocked over in the excitement.
He’s been waiting longer than he should, and honestly... he’s a really good dog. He just needs someone to meet him where he’s at and give him a chance.
If you want a fun, loyal, adventure-ready best friend — Otis is your guy 💛
