Osprey's Story

Meet Osprey! Osprey is estimated to be 3-4 years old and is a female Bichon/Poodle mix who was rescued from a puppy mill. This sweet girl is a trooper; she arrived clearly not feeling well at all. After undergoing a thorough medical exam by the veterinarians at AFA, they discovered a very large bladder stone to be the culprit. The vets were able to remove the stone at the same time Osprey got spayed. The surgery was a success, and Osprey has been feeling so much better! However, Osprey will need continual veterinary care for her bladder issues, as well as to be on a special diet. Potential adopters should be aware of the extra financial responsibility this brings.
Osprey is very shy & skittish, but at the same quite curious of her surroundings and the people coming and going. She has done well with other little dogs, and they seem to help bring out her personality. She has a spark in her eyes that is just waiting to ignite! Training and time will bring Osprey out of her shell and living up to her full potential!
Osprey's perfect home is filled with an abundance of patience and love, a safe place where she can decompress from her past and learn the joy of being loved and spoiled.
Please note that Osprey will require a fenced in yard as well.

Interested in adopting?
