Oso's Story

How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on May 2, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you: Say hello to Oso! This big-hearted bear of a dog has a personality that lights up any room. He's the role model for how to be a great companion dog - sweet, brave and loves to have his belly rubbed! Oso is always ready for a playful adventure or a quiet cuddle. He's is also apparently house-trained. This smart and curious pup enjoys exploring, so his adopters will need to keep him securely indoors or in a fenced yard at his new home so he doesn't venture out on his own. Oso has participated in our Dog Day Out program, spending a day with a volunteer, and he received rave reviews as a sweet-natured and relaxed companion. He's known to be friendly and mellow toward everyone he meets, and has been observed getting along with other dogs. Oso's gentleness make him a good candidate to be a family pet, possibly even in a multi-dog home. If you're ready to give Oso the home he deserves, come talk with our adoptions team to learn more today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for adoption! Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: Black Weight: 58.6lbs Age: 5yrs 3mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
