Meet OSO
Meet OSO!
He is a 11yo cattle dog mix who we rescued from the South LA shelter. While at the shelter, Oso graduated from K9 Youth Alliance, a program that pairs local youth in under-resourced communities to work hands-on with shelter dogs to teach them basic skills and agility behaviors. When we first got OSO he was a cool cat but has learned to become quite the snuggler while at our kennel.
Oso can be shy and eccentric but has a heart of gold. He is a lover of the outdoors and would thrive in a home with a yard. He is looking for a patient person who will allow him time and space to acclimate to new environments. He is crate trained, house broken and a lover of naps. He is a herding breed so he would do best in a home with a dog of medium to large size, but would be just as happy to be your one and only.
Aside from some "old-age" related conditions like cataracts and arthritis, our vet has given him a clean bill of health. OSO weighs about 55lbs, is neutered, micro-chipped, crate-trained, current on shots and appears to be housebroken.
