Oso's Story

Oso the friendly white husky (with a golden retriever heart), is in need of rehoming!

All white husky with the biggest smile, bluest eyes and the heart of a golden retriever. Oso is the best companion an active person/couple/family with older children could ask for. He is so loyal that he is too scared to run away from a loving home. He is magnificent on voice command and a one of a kind, off leash trained husky. In July of 2025, he went through an extensive 3 week training program through Art of The Dog (E-Collar Training, we have the collar for new owner if desired), making him a very well-behaved dog both in the house and on leash. We would be happy to facilitate a training between Art of The Dog and the new owner, so they can better understand how Oso is trained and set him and his new family up for absolute success.

Oso loves to play, loves attention, loves to be loved and will always be excited for the opportunity to be outside with his dog friends or human friends. You can always find him sunbathing in the summer or winter, loves a good porch or patio and is also obsessed with the snow or rivers/lakes.

Oso has been a rafting companion on overnight river trips (great boat dog), camping companion, hiking and fishing adventures, backcountry skiing, you name it he loves it.

Oso's family has had him for 5 years, and he has been the most fun loving and goofy member of our family. Now that they have two young children under 3 and both work full time, Oso is not getting the attention he deserves, and they have some concerns about resource guarding with small children on the floor and in tight quarters. This dog is wonderful and deserves an amazing home to continue to live a fun loving and active lifestyle.

Please consider meeting Oso. He will put a smile on your face and a create a warm place in your heart immediately.
