Oshkosh 9821's Story
Handsome chi Oshkosh, a standup guy with a storied past, has already proved himself to be a loving friend to humans of all ages and dogs of many persuasions. A one-time stray, he lived with an elderly guardian for years and more recently with a foster, demonstrating along the way his superior skills as a live-in provider of companionship, affection and sage advice. He likes a daily jaunt and an occasional stretch of the legs when nature calls, but he's not a climber of stairs or an obsessive fetcher. Just a chill fella who can teach us all a thing or two about the power of hanging out. Adopt him to take your self-care commitment to the next level, with a velvety friend by your side.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Oshkosh is a mellow fellow. He loves his nap, and when awake he's reserved and quietly observes what's going on around him. He doesn't much like quick moves in his vicinity.

One ear on the alert, the other at half-staff, he wobbles a bit when he walks. Like most of us older gents he has a few other craggy features, such as small growths on his head and paw.

After 2-1/2 weeks of regular exercise Oshkosh's mobility and range have improved. At first he was walking about 4 houses up and back; now he's doing up to half a mile. He's becoming a pretty good walking companion!

When awake, he loves being outside, and with exercise he has started moving better and for longer distance.

If you are seeking a mostly silent (but sweet) partner for your organization, Oshkosh is top-shelf all the way!
