Oscar's Story

Ain't no grouching here and no green coat and no trash can, just a stunning snowball of a big guy who is soft, squishy, mild and ready to make his way into your heart and home. Oscar is an adult Great Pyrenees who weighs a lean 74 lbs now and surely needs to pack on a few more. This guy has been gentle, easily going, good in his crate and great outside since his arrival. Oscar is ready to take over a good portion of the couch, carpet, bed....however you roll he is ready to roll that way. Oscar has done great with female doggo friends at the farm and has a nice lazy dog style about him but don't be totally fooled as he is still a guardian livestock breed and would love places to wander and places to call his own, as well as the best family to call his own as well. Oscar is ready to bring white fluff directly your way!

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
