Meet Oscar! Oscar came to CCHS as an owner surrender after his owner had unfortunately passed. This handsome mixed breed is about 2 years old and weighs roughly 55.6lbs currently. Oscar is a total goofball! He admittedly will do just about anything to be told he's a good boy! We aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, but we can tell you he is 100% North American House Hippo! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
