Oreo's Story

Looking for a little shadow with a big heart? Meet Oreo, a 3-year-old, 11-pound Shih Tzu mix who's ready to become someone's devoted best friend. Oreo is quiet, laid-back, and incredibly affectionate. He may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine, but once he settles in, he'll happily become part of the family. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, working around the house, or spending time with loved ones, Oreo simply wants to be included. He gets along well with other small dogs his size and enjoys their company. Oreo would thrive in a home where he's involved in everyday family life with people who enjoy having their furry companion by their side. While he loves people, we're looking for a home without young children. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, but Oreo would also be perfectly happy with regular leash walks. He is not a dog who should spend long hours in a crate. Having previously spent far too much time confined, Oreo is happiest when he's with his people. He will also need a patient family willing to help him continue learning a consistent potty routine, as he is adjusting to life outside of the crate. Oreo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, had a dental, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention. Oreo's adoption fee is $375
