Meet Oracle

Oracle is a 2 year old mixed breed dog ready for her forever home. She is a tall, lanky girl and absolutely gorgeous. She gets along great with children and dogs. However, due to her past of being a stray and constantly scavenging for meals before entering our rescue, she would need to be fed separately from any dog siblings. At least some of her breed is hunting dog with a prey drive so she cannot be adopted into a family with cats.
Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be.
This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
