Opossum's Story

Hi! My name is Opossum but my foster family calls me “Opey”! I am a 3 month old female Terrier mix and I weigh about 15 lbs. I had a bit of a rough start but you’d never know it to look at me now! I’m loving life outside of the shelter and not to brag but I am a fan favorite everywhere I go. People are always telling me how sweet I am and how much they adore me. I sleep all night in my crate, I’m almost 100% potty trained, I know how to sit for treats and I’m a professional front seat car rider. I get along with everyone.. young, old, big, small, loud and quiet. Nothing seems to bother me a whole lot which makes me easy to have with you everywhere you go! I have both 2 and 4 legged foster siblings and I absolutely love them all. I spend my days playing both independently and with my doggie friends as well as taking lots of naps in my mom’s office while she works. I’m still working towards perfecting my leash walking skills but I’m getting better every day! If you’re looking for an easy and cuddly addition to your family I just might be the sweet girl you’re looking for!
