Adopt A Pit Rescue
Germantown, OH, 45327
Our Mission
To rescue, rehome and rehabilitate abused, neglected and discarded "bully breed" dogs, with a focus on educating and advocating to ensure all bully breeds have a positive and optimistic future in a breed discriminatory society.
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in one of our fine furry friends, please fill out the adoption application at http://www.adoptapitrescue.org/apply. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs, so please do not email us asking when/where you can meet an adoptable dog. We do not have a shelter location and we absolutely will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
A vet and landlord check (if applicable) is completed on every submitted application. Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a home visit with the adoptable dog. Please keep in mind that we are volunteer run and we all have lives, families and pets of our own, so it may take up to 2 weeks to hear back from us, depending upon the volume of applications we are handling, the ability to reach your vet and/or landlord, and whether the information you provided is accurate/complete. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can email us for more information.
