Meet Ophelia! This sweet frenchie was rescued from Mexico after being relinquished by their owner to our trusted veterinary partner it was soon realized that she was likely used and abused for breeding purposes! Poor girl has scabs and scraps on her and had the typical sag of a pup who's had numerous litters.<br/><br/>Ophelia is like any bossy typical frenchie! She thinks she's the biggest dog in the pack when she's really only 20 lbs. She's believed to be around 2 years old. She is working on a potty routine and enjoys yard time! She'd do best with a family use to frenchie's temperaments! She's done great with other dogs of all sizes as long as they aren't old grumpy ones. She's done great with a consistent potty routine and is working on her leash and crate skills. Could Ophelia be the pup you've been searching for?

Submit Adoption Application Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications Please note: puppies are only adoptable to residents of San Diego county. 2. Interview If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you. 3. Home Check After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check. 4. Meet the Pet The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet. 5. Pay Fee 6. Sign Adoption Contract Please note: we are a volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant.
