Meet Onyx! <br/><br/>Onyx is an approximately 1-year-old boy with a gentle heart who is looking for a patient family to help him continue building his confidence.<br/><br/>He came to us from a rescue mission, alongside his sister, Opal. Because of his past, Onyx can be shy and a little nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations. He prefers to take things at his own pace, but once he realizes you're a friend, his true personality begins to shine. Currently we do not know his exact breed.<br/><br/>With a little time, patience, and plenty of kindness, Onyx blossoms into a wonderful companion. He enjoys spending time with the people he trusts and continues to make progress every day as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place.<br/><br/>Onyx would thrive with a family that understands that trust isn't built overnight.
