Onyx's Story

** ONYX IS NOT AT UPAWS **

Onyx is a wonderful dog. I am looking for a better home for her because working nearly full time and going to school isn't giving her the attention she deserves. A better home to me is someone that works from home and has a nice big backyard that she can run in. She is slightly afraid of kids (has never lived with one) but its great with other dogs, cats and birds. Onyx is the chillest Australian Shepherd ever, she would love to cuddle and chill all day. She is also great with walks, car rides, hiking, etc. She lived on the road (camper travelling the country) for a year. She knows plenty of commands/tricks, the basics and "where's [person]?" She's not interested in toys, she much prefers attention or treats. Onyx is very good at routines, and will come with her automatic feeder so she never wakes you up in the morning. She is trained to ring a bell when she needs outside (but also has used and loved a doggy door to a fenced in yard). Onyx also has no problem with storms, fireworks, etc. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

If you are interest in Onyx, please reach out to Theodore at 269-569-3399 or atheeslinder@gmail.com
