Looking for the life of the party and an all around adventure buddy?! Look no further! <br/><br/>Onyx is truly a story of second chances. As just a tiny pup, Onyx and his 3 siblings were surrendered to an overfull, high rate euthanasia animal control facility. Onyx lived at animal control with his siblings for 2 months before ending up on the euthanasia list due to space. We heard about them and couldn't let that happen. <br/><br/>As soon as we pulled him from that chain link kennel, Onyx has shown an incredible zest for life! He loves everything and everyone! There seriously hasnt been a thing this guy has come across that he hasnt been happy about. His happiness is infectious- he makes everyone smile when they meet him. Hes hard not to love!<br/><br/>Onyx has learned how awesome life is as a playful pup with a good game of fetch and a couch to curl up on at the end of the day. Hes perfectly crate trained, phenomenal on a leash, and has his basic obedience down pat. He loves going for car rides, going on walks/hikes, and chasing his favorite toys. Hes nearly mastered potty training, and is improving every day!<br/><br/>Despite his slow start, he is very confident and curious! He adores humans and trusts them completely...even after everything he went through as a young puppy. He LOVES playing with other dogs and learning the ropes from them. He would love to have another canine buddy in his new home to romp with on the regular. He is great with kids, young and old! Onyx also loves cats, though hes not sure why they dont love him as much as he does ;-) He is the cutest, fluffiest guy with so much to offer!<br/><br/>We believe Onyx is an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix. His adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His puppyhood has been one of loneliness and begging for someone to give him a chance. We are so glad we could be his chance! Now, he's on the hunt for the humans who want to fulfill his dreams: a forever home and family!
