Ollie's Story

Hi, My name is Ollie and I am a lab/chessie/ret. mix of sorts. I am about 6 years old and have been in the kennel environment far too long. I love long walks, relaxing and being with my humans. I would prefer to be the only pet in the home as I am dog selective, but if the right dog came along I might be okay with it! I do have some slight stranger danger, but nothing a little food and patience won't fix! I know my basic obedience too! I have attended many training classes while living in a boarding facility.

2nd Chance to Shine's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match between each dog and their future family. Interested adopters begin by completing a pre-application, which helps us understand their lifestyle, experience, and what they’re looking for in a dog. From there, we schedule a phone interview to discuss expectations, answer questions, and ensure a good fit. Approved applicants are then invited to a meet-and-greet with the dog, allowing both the adopter and the dog to interact in a comfortable setting. If all goes well, we move forward with finalizing the adoption, prioritizing safe, loving, and lasting placements.
