Ollie's Story

Ollie is a 10 week old Schnoxie. That is a fancy made up breed name for a Schnauzer Dachshund mix. He is a mixed breed, whatever the name, but if you are looking for a great dog, continue reading. We can tell you he is adorable and has won the heart of every human who has come into contact with him. Ollie weighed just under 10 pounds at 6-7 weeks. At 10 weeks he weighs 13 pounds. He does still have larger paws for his body.
This little guy is good with everyone he meets. He has been around big dogs, small dogs, cats, and kids. Ollie is an easy going guy who is content to play or cuddle in your lap. He is doing really well at his house training. We are never going to promise you a 10 week old puppy is fully house trained but he is pretty close.
Ollie ended up in rescue because his people failed. They contacted us and told us they no longer wanted him because he whined – he was 7 weeks old! They threw him out in the rain until we got there to pick him up.
Ollie is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on his shots. If you would like to meet Ollie, please start the adoption process by completing the adoption application on our website at www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Ollie, please contact rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657.
Adopters within two hour travel time from Cedar Rapids, IA only, please.
Indoor homes only.
Adoption donation $250
