Ollie's Story

Meet Ollie! He is a smart, affectionate, goofball that is looking for a special home to call his own. He may be a small boy weighing about 30 lb. but he has a big personally to pair with it! His favorite activities are running as fast as he possibly can, playing with squeaky toys, going on walks, splashing around in water, and most of all taking long naps. Ollie is a shy guy, and takes time to trust new people he meets, especially men. But once he builds trust in new people, he bonds deeply with them. He has shown resource guarding tendencies with food and his bed when he doesn't want to get up. While this is a common, manageable behavior, Ollie is looking for an adopter who will continue working on 'trade' exercises and further training and structurer around these areas. He is exceedingly smart, driven, and food motivated. He has so much enthusiasm while practicing and learning new commands. He's truly eager to please. This little dog has such a goofy fun personally and with the right home he is sure to be an amazing companion.

Ollie would excel in a quiet home with a consistent routine and predictable visitors. He would also prefer to be the only pet in his home. With a consistent routine, structure, and further training on the basics he has learned he is sure to flourish into the most loyal companion anyone could ask for.

* Fast Friends adopts in the New England area.
