I am 4 years old and weigh 22 pounds. I need a new home because I was released from a breeder. I am being fostered in Omaha, Nebraska.<br/><br/>I am a very sweet girl. I love to give kisses and be pet. I also have the cutest little tail that wags when I'm happy to see you. I am a little shy, but I'm friendly with all humans, even children. I am very inquisitive and like to look around and find your towel or sock and move them to a better spot. I love hard chew toys and steal all of them. I get along with my 3 active dog friends. I do not wrestle or play, but it does look fun. I don't mind cats or chase them.<br/><br/>I am calm in the house and sleep in a dog bed and watch the busy household during the day. I finally realized I like to sleep in dog beds rather than the cold floor of a kennel. I don't mind being kenneled at night or when you are gone, but I love to be out with you to follow you around when you're home.<br/><br/>I can not walk up or down the tall stairs inside the house yet. I figured out how to use the deck stairs after about a week. But, I can not jump or get on furniture. I will fall off a bed or couch if you put me on it. I get carried upstairs and downstairs at night for bed.<br/><br/>I potty outside and have only had one accident, probably because I wasn't let outside soon enough. I don't know how to walk on a leash yet. I have a giant backyard I play in all day. And I would love dog friends.<br/><br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? Yes.<br/>Leash-trained? No<br/>Rides well in car? Yes<br/>Good with other dogs? Yes<br/>Good with cats? Yes<br/>Good with young children? Probably (I live with a 14 and 11 year old who run and yell in the house and I'm fine with that. I also let them carry me.)<br/>Good with strangers? Shy at first<br/>Shy or confident? Shy at first <br/>Barks? Yes. (when you come home I get excited.)<br/>Apartment qualified? No not leash trained.<br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced.
