For inquiries email joanie@compactcaninerescue.org

Fee: $600

Location: Norfolk, VA

UPDATE from foster mom 7/21/26:

Olivia has truly blossomed into a great pet in less than 3 weeks! Shes learned to cuddle and give gentle nuzzles. Shes learned how to go up and down fairly steep staircases with great athleticism. Shes learned to walk and do her waste business on a leash. Shes not afraid of loud noises like fireworks, thunder, or the carpet cleaner (which shes heard a LOT this past week because of a tummy bug)!

Shes great with other dogs of all sizes. Although shes initially very timid with new humans, she warms up very quickly to those who show her gentle affection, and especially to those who give her treats!

She now walks well on a leash, but sometimes her battery runs down and she refuses to walk more. Dont worry, shes powered by pets. Stroke her head or back or sides and she recharges and will walk when called!

Olivia is truly a joy and would love to be an awesome companion to her perfect human(s)!

Olivia is a sweet little miniature schnauzer. She is 4 years old and weighs about 20 pounds. She, like the other female schnauzers we received, has lived her whole life making baby schnauzers! She was surrendered to the rescue now that her baby making days are over. She is definitely confused. She has never been a pet before but she is definitely enjoying the experience. She is working on her potty manners and her leash skills. She will be spayed and have a dental on July 7th then be ready for adoption.

Don't miss out on this sweet little lady! She will definitely add some sparkle to your day!
