We dont know if shes been deaf her whole life or if its something that developed with age, but one thing is certain: it doesnt slow her down one bit. Olivia is incredibly attentive and responds wonderfully to visual cues. She simply wants to be where her people are and is happiest when she can see you.

Olivia is crate trained and settles nicely in her crate when shes home alone while her foster family is out. Shes an excellent passenger in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, and even enjoyed a trip to Tractor Supply to check everything out. She also loves going for walks when the weather isnt unbearably hot. While she truly enjoys being with her person, she does just fine when left alone for short periods.

Olivia is completely
housebroken and hasnt had a single accident in her foster home. She gets along well with other dogs, both big and small, as long as they arent too overwhelming. Because shes deaf and can be easily startled if someone approaches without her noticing, shed do best in a home without young children. We havent had the opportunity to test her with cats.

Olivia does have a couple of mammary tumors that will be removed before she goes to her forever home. Thankfully, they havent slowed her down at all. Shell also benefit from a family who will help her continue on her healthy weight-loss journey so she can enjoy many happy years ahead.

If you think you could be the person to give Olivia the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves during her golden years, wed love to hear from you. She has so much love left to give—shes just waiting for someone to share it with.

If you want to help with this dogs medical expenses:
https://therescuedrescuers.org/how-to-help

If you want to adopt this dog, apply at the link!
https://therescuedrescuers.org/adoption-application
