Olivia

Olivia is a teeny little Yorkie!<br/>She is a distinguished mature lady, and is looking for a quiet, calm home where she can enjoy her golden years!<br/>When her owner passed away, she was dumped at a rural shelter by the family, terrified and stressed.<br/>She was defensive with shelter staff, and was scheduled to be euthanized due to that fearful and defensive behavior.<br/>Since we have a soft spot for scared pups, especially seniors, we couldn’t let that be how her life ended, so we brought her into our foster program instead!<br/> <br/>Once she arrived to her foster home, it was very obvious that she was just extremely scared and lost!<br/>she was nippy with her foster mom at first, as she is not a huge fan of being picked up - but she has gotten better as she has settled in, and has started to open up and has gained a little confidence. <br/><br/>Once she feels safe, she loves to curl up on the couch with her people, and enjoy the softer things in life!<br/><br/>Olivia does great with cats and dogs of all sizes, but due to her size and age, calmer pets in the home are probably best!<br/>She does prefer consent when being handled, so we recommend no kids or older, respectful kids.<br/><br/>She is crate trained, house trained and is very easy to live with as far as house manners go!<br/><br/>Olivia is approx 10 yrs old and around 7-8lbs <br/><br/>To meet her apply here:<br/><br/>https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/KOTR/Dog
