OLIVIA's Story

Meet sweet OLIVIA! Olivia is about 42 lbs and about 1 year old. While we cannot actually guarantee her breed, we are pretty darn sure that she is mostly a chocolate Labrador - a petite one!

Olivia is SUCH a sweet girl. She is great with other dogs! She has been around many dogs of varying sizes and ages under our care and was great with all of them.

She is a sweet and cuddly dog. She loves attention and affection. She will come up and put her head in your lap, or gently put her paw on your leg to remind you that she is there and would very much love some hugs and kisses.

While we have not seen her ourselves around young children, we have no doubt she would be great with them given her personality! She is just so incredibly happy and sweet.

She is also good with cats! See photo!

She is 100% house trained.

She is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. She is ready to find her forever family!

HER STORY: Olivia was part of a TNR (trap, neuter, release) initiative run by a local shelter in Puerto Rico. This shelter is at capacity and therefore was forced to do TNR as they did not have space to house more dogs. The vets who cared for her and did her spay could not bear to put her back on the street so instead brought her to their very own home where she is staying now! She clearly was someones pet before and so desperately wanted love and they knew she would make an amazing addition to someones family. They also suspected that she may have been purchased and somehow ended up on the street as it is quite rare to see a dog of her breed and look on the street.

**PLEASE NOTE: Olivia is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to her forever home once she is adopted! We can ship to Miami/Tampa/Orlando and Baltimore/Virginia/Maryland areas!

Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! See below for application info.

APPLY TO ADOPT HERE:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FDZ/Dog

For more information on our organization, please visit: https://www.flydogzpr.org/

Instagram: @flydogz_pr AND @flydogzpr_adopt

Any questions, please do not hesitate to email: flydogzpradoptions@gmail.com
________________________________________________________________________________
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
