I currently live with my best friend and have several dog pals in the neighborhood—I'm social, playful, and completely at ease in their company. Having a confident dog buddy in my future home would make me so happy.<br/><br/>I've mostly lived a pretty quiet life, and I haven't had much exposure to new people or situations. When my family recently left me with friends for the first time, I wasn't sure what to do... I didn't warm up, and I think that made them realize I need a different kind of home.<br/><br/>I'm not a “life of the party” kind of dog. I'm a “sit beside you quietly, build trust slowly, and love you deeply once I feel safe” kind of dog <br/><br/>With patience, gentle guidance, and time, I may grow more confident.
