OLIVE's Story

OLIVE, a precious gem waiting to shine! She arrived at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH as a stray back in April and sadly, has garnered ZERO interest. Despite this, OLIVE remains a gentle soul, often overlooked because she's a Pointer/Hound mix, not a pure breed. Her calm demeanor makes her blend into the background, and she won't demand attention, but graciously accepts affection when offered. This unassuming sweetheart is quiet and composed, unless she spots Bugs Bunny or his cartoon friends, which sparks her playful side, prompting her to chase or watch with great curiosity. OLIVE has been thriving in the Cell Dog Training program at BeCI and is now ready to join a forever family. At 7 years young, she's housebroken, fully vetted, and enjoys the company of kids and other dogs. In a recent encounter with kittens, her little nub of a tail wagged excitedly as she calmly checked them out, showcasing her gentle nature

Harrison County Dog Pound. 82900 Toot Rd.
