OJ Rottweiler Oneonta, NY

OJ.. this guy really is something special. He is such love bug. Like most big dogs, he is oblivious to his size and will not hesitate to snuggle his way right into your lap. OJ is still a very young guy and his mannerisms are quite puppy-like. OJ didn't have the best start to things. When he first arrived he was in pretty poor shape. Since being at SHHS he has really blossomed. He has been learning how to play with toys and his overall confidence has drastically improved. He has also gained quite a bit of weight and is finally at a healthy size. OJ's desire to please is so strong it can be overwhelming at times. He wants so badly to bond with his handler that sometimes his excitement gets the better of him. What he is really looking for is security and stability in both his person and environment. OJ is housetrained and knows basic commands. He even walks quite well on a leash.

OJ does not do well with other dogs, but may be fine with cats.

To summarize OJ:

*Excitement level = Giant Puppy
*Must be an only animal
* Must be fed in a safe space
*11/10 Snuggler
