Ogden's Story

Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life! He loves people and attention. Armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his! Oggie is a 5-year-old hound/pointer mix weighing about 75 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard.

Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence.

Oggie's adoption fee is $225. He's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org . (Indianapolis area)

THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative.

E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application.

All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application.

Waldo's Muttley Crew's Adoption Policy
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. You can find that application on our website -- www.waldosmuttleycrew.com -- click on "Applications", then "Adoption Application". This is no way obligates you to adopt, but it helps to determine if a particular rescue would be a good fit for your family. If you have a question regarding a particular rescue, please email wmc@waldosmuttleycrew.org We require completion of an application which will be followed by a verbal interview, personal and veterinary reference checks, and a home visit prior to approval of an adoption. We are not a public shelter. All of our rescues are in private foster homes. Before a meet & greet is set up, an application must be filled out and approved. Thank you for understanding.
