Odin's Story

Meet Odin.

Hes 6.5 year old Mastiff. 118lbs.

From Odins foster family:

likes food and treats - could stand to put on some weight so hes getting plenty of each while hes here. is very gentle about snacks and takes anything from your hand as gentle as possible.

magnet boy - this guy wants to be with someone as much as possible. he lets you know by giving the tiniest littlest baby whine. he will follow room to room if he can. he laid in my office all day yesterday, completely content. when he was gated apart from us (we do slow integration at home using baby gates) he never barked.

loves walks - like, several a day. he walks so nicely on a leash. he is not distracted by neighborhood animals, domesticated and otherwise, doesnt bark at people, loves puddles.

hates storms - last night i was going to let him sleep downstairs on the couch but once the storm started i could hear him ever so slightly whining at the bottom of the steps, so i brought him up and he slept calmly in our room all night, so maybe i should say he hates being alone in storms.

good with commands - i havent tested to see what all he knows, but he definitely responds perfectly to come here, sit and lay down, he understands stay but if youre leaving the room he will wait til your out of sight then follow.

trustworthy - i am pro-crate, but i dont think this guy needs one to stop him from destroying things or going potty inside. he doesnt give super chewer vibes.

i dont think it will take much to make this guy happy. a cozy xxl bed, some gravy coated milk bones, and a homebody who loves walks to love on him, and hes set!

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Adoption fee is $250.

Fill out an application at sianimalrescue.org.
