Odette Black Labrador Retriever & Labrador Retriever Mix Berkeley Heights, NJ

Everyone meet Odette! She is a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever mix currently weighing about 25 pounds. Odette was rescued from a kill shelter in Horry County, South Carolina where she would have been euthanized if Home for Good had not stepped in. They were unwilling to give her the chance to come out of her shell and shine like the beautiful girl she is. Odette came in never experiencing the gentle human hand, but has learned that humans are not to be feared and in fact, they are to be loved!

Odette is a very sweet, calm, silly and curious pup! She is shy at first and only takes a short time and a gentle hand to warm up to and trust new humans. She plays wonderfully with other dogs and is much less timid with her canine friends. She loves to play with her canine foster siblings, run around in the fenced-in yard and then take a nice nap in the sunshine.

She enjoys soft squeaky toys and Nylabones and will bring them to her comfy bed to play with them. She is almost there with house training and sleeps peacefully all night in her crate near her foster mom. She walks well on a leash and just needs a bit of reassurance when she hears loud, sudden noises. Odette would be a perfect addition to any family willing to give her the patience and love she deserves.

Odette is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
