Meet Ocho

Meet Ocho! The sweetest guy you could ever meet. This 7-year-old, 70 lb. gentle giant is incredibly well-behaved with looks to kill. He loves his humans, but its a tough competition when it comes to a quality ball. Boy, does he love his ball. Ball is life. Whether its fetch or simply destroying a quality ball inside, Ocho will gladly carry his ball with him any chance he gets.

Ocho loves food and any kind of ball, but he'll gladly destroy a squeaky toy if no ball is around. This mellow boy is the perfect companion and enjoys spending leisurely days with his family. Whether it's ripping up a good toy, going for a stroll, or a car ride, Ocho is content doing almost anything. He is easygoing and would fit seamlessly into any family willing to give him the space to be his chill self.

Ocho came to his foster with severe skin allergies, but within a few weeks his skin has recovered significantly. He shouldn't need more care than any other dog once fully healed. Pet Haven is currently administering a more expensive allergy medication, Apequel, to see if this will assist his healing.

While he is generally pretty quiet, he is still learning crate training. While he's very good in his crate for most things, he starts to become impatient after a while and becomes vocal. His dream home would not have shared walls (i.e. apartments/condos).

Ocho has experience living with other dogs and cats and doesn't have any issues. While not particularly interested in canine companions, he coexists peacefully, as long as he has his own toys. He has lived with kids before and showcases a mellow demeanor and loves his family. He is ready to spend quality time chilling with his human companions, preferably if he is the sole recipient of his human's affection. He has a low energy level, enjoys some outdoor time and play, and doesn't require extensive exercise.

Ocho is a dream dog. He's a content companion ready to share life's moments with his forever family.
