Obi is a 2 years, 7 months old female Pit Bull Terrier/Mix who weighs 52 pounds.<br/><br/>Meet Obi!<br/><br/>This sweet pittie girl arrived at the shelter as a stray with scars across her beautiful face.. We don't know what caused them, and Obi isn't telling. What we do know is that she's a gentle soul who takes just a little time to feel safe in new situations.<br/><br/>When meeting new people, Obi may hang back at first and take things at her own pace while being petted. Once she decides you're a friend, though, she transforms into a squishy, affectionate cuddle bug who is happiest soaking up attention and treats. And trust us, treats are the quickest way to her heart.<br/><br/>Obi has been a little shy around some dogs at the shelter, so meeting first would be necessary. She may be able to live with another dog, but she'd appreciate being given time to build confidence.<br/><br/>Obi is looking for an understanding home - if there are to be kids they should be older children or teens who can respect her need to settle in. In return, she'll offer plenty of love, loyalty, and those irresistibly mushy pittie snuggles. Obi is feeling crowded, she just moves away - such a sweet soul.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Obi, please come to the shelter during our walk-in hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm.
