Oakley's Story
Oakley is one stunning dog! One of his littermate's got their DNA results and they were Great Pyrenees, Bloodhound and Dalmatian. You can definitely see the Great Pyrenees with his large size and 'super model' legs!

He also has other Great Pyrenees tendencies. Being that they are guardian dogs, he can be a bit weary of strangers coming around the house especially when the children he lives with our home. He will bark at passer byers and delivery drivers - because of this we feel that a home in the city would not be a good fit.

Oakley would be happiest on acreage or in a suburban home - fenced in yard is required. He would be a great farm dog as he does well with chickens and livestock. He does well with most male dogs and all female dogs. He does well with cats, as well!

He is a home body and, at 6 years old, is fine with one walk a day and then he is happy being curled up next to his owner taking a snooze!

Oakley does well with small children ( 2 years and older). KARE does require families with children under 5 years old to attend a family training session, with KARE, prior to application approval.

KARE reserves the right to adopt to residents of Western Washington, only.
