Oakley Labrador Retriever & Terrier Mix Sheridan, TX

Hi there,

My name is Oakley, like Annie Oakley. One day I hope to be as famous as she is!!

So apparently, I began life on the wrong foot, or paw ;). I was a wanderer, yeah a wanderer, I roamed around around around around :) See, told ya I was gonna get famous one day, one way or another!

My roaming is exactly what got me into trouble though. A kind police officer picked me up and put in the pound. NOT a good place to be if you know what I mean. I guess it's better than starving to death or getting hit by a car though.

Luckily, Lucies was called in to come get me and let me tell you I was so relieved! These angels are a blessing. They scooped me up and brought me to the dog park and now here I am. Making friends and learning new and fun things.

I'm a good girl and just want to have a family of my own. We could teach other things and play and run. Or, we could just sit on the couch and cuddle. What do you think? Maybe you want to be my family? I sure hope so!
