Oak's Story

Oak is an 80lb, 8-year-old Cane Corso x Pittie mix who we rescued just one hour before euthanasia from SEACCA shelter, and ever since then he’s been showing everyone what a loving, goofy soul he truly is.

Oak’s favorite thing in the world is being part of a family. He’s currently fostered with a family and their 4-year-old daughter, and honestly... we think he believes she’s his own child. He has the sweetest babysitter tendencies and just wants to be near his people.

Even at 8 years old, Oak still loves to show off his zoomies and has plenty of pep in his step! He’s fabulous on leash, sleeps peacefully in his own bed every night, and is overall just an easy, lovable guy to have around.

It’s clear Oak likely spent much of his life as a neglected backyard dog, so he’ll need someone willing to provide consistency in his golden years. In return, you’ll get the most loyal companion who just wants to fit in and be loved.
